Its barrel is shortened to 18″, so its short, handy dimensions will never get in the way of your big plans.

Designed for quick snap shots at a target, the Scout Squad™ is packed with all the standard features that make the M1A™ great, plus new features like a specially designed muzzle brake to help tame recoil. The 18" 1:11" right-hand six-groove carbon steel barrel on the M1A™ Scout Squad rifle strikes a balance between accuracy and portability.

2-Stage NM Tuned Trigger

The National Match front sight on the M1A™ Scout Squad rifle features a 0.062" crisp blade.

Windage / Elevation Adj. Rear Sight

The M1A™ Scout Squad rifle features a rugged rear sight that is easily adjustable for both windage and elevation without tools.

Proprietary Muzzle Brake

The unique muzzle brake on the M1A™ Scout Squad rifle helps tame 7.62x51mm recoil without adding undue bulk or length.
