The Springfield Armory® Model 2020 Heatseeker is a chassis-based rifle crafted for shooters who demand bolt-action precision and AR-style modularity in one uncompromising platform. Built on our custom-grade Model 2020 action with dual locking lugs, a fluted bolt, and EDM raceways, it delivers surgical accuracy with a .75 MOA guarantee. Housed in the Sharps Bros Heatseeker Chassis with a B5 Systems Collapsible Precision Stock and P-23 pistol grip, it offers additional versatility and ergonomic control. Finished in rugged Coyote Brown Cerakote and equipped with a Triggertech Field Trigger, the Heatseeker chambered in .308 or 6.5 Creedmoor is ready for chasing game or stacking rounds on target.

MODEL 2020 ACTION

The heart of the Heatseeker is the Model 2020 action, precision manufactured from premium materials. It features dual locking lugs on a fluted bolt that runs smoothly down EDM raceways for perfect, repeatable engagement. In addition, an optimized extraction cam provides robust, reliable operation in any condition.

SHARPS BROS. CHASSIS

The Model 2020 action is housed in the Sharps Bros Heatseeker Chassis, weighing 1lb, 3oz, and machined from a single block of high-strength 6061-T6 aluminum with a Coyote Brown Cerakote® finish. It offers modern adaptability with extensive M-Lok coverage for accessory mounting. Additionally, it supports traditional AR-15 buffer tube and grip attachments for enhanced compatibility.

B5 Systems CPS

The B5 Systems Collapsible Precision Stock features an adjustable cheekpiece and buttpad for customized fit.

Box Magazine

The Model 2020 Heatseeker ships with a 5-round AICS magazine.

Picatinny Rail

A detachable Remington 700 pattern pic rail is mounted to the action and houses two recoil pins.

QD Cups

The chassis features multiple QD cups for sling attachment.

B5 Systems P-Grip 23

The B5 Systems P-Grip 23 offers an increased vertical grip with functional texture on the sides and frontstrap.

Thread Protector

The Model 2020 Heatseeker ships with a thread protector for when a suppressor device is not attached.

RIFLE CASE INCLUDED

A heavy-duty rifle case is included with each Model 2020. Its padded foam shell, adjustable interior Velcro straps and muzzle protector ensure the rifle and any mounted optics are protected during transportation.
